FOUNDATION GOVERNORS - VACANCY
To be eligible for appointment as a Foundation Governor, applicants must be practising and committed Catholics, and confirm they are willing to serve in accordance with the mandate from the Bishop. Expressions of interest are welcomed from people offering a wide range of skills and experience to support the work of the governing body. You may have experience of finance or legal affairs or human resources or overseeing projects; you may have a deep understanding of your local community. The many roles of governors mean that there are areas that can suit people of differing backgrounds and with a diverse array of skills.
As part of the nomination process you will need to demonstrate your commitment to the Catholic faith and your contribution to parish life and the Catholic community, as well as being able to articulate what you feel you are able to contribute to the Catholic life of a Catholic school, if you are appointed as one of the Bishop’s foundation governors.
